Advance - East Sussex Domestic Abuse Service
Advance provide free, confidential, and non-judgmental support to anyone over the age of 16 who is experiencing domestic abuse across East Sussex. Where needed, ongoing advocacy will be available to help victims and survivors increase their safety and access appropriate support services.
Advance will help with:
- Improving safety
- Understanding survivors’ options and rights
- Accessing safer housing
- Ensuring survivors’ voices are heard by the services they need
- Navigating court and criminal justice processes
- Providing emotional and practical support
- Connecting survivors with other support services in the area
Advance can support via:
- Face-to-face appointments
- Telephone support
- Video call sessions
- Interpretation services for individuals whose first language is not English
