Brighton & Hove Independent Mediation Service (BHIMS)
BHIMS mediators help parties involved in a dispute understand each other and recognise that they can find their own resolutions to conflicts. Mediation can help with disputes between neighbours, local community groups, families, schools, social care, supported living environments and businesses. BHIMS offers a safe and confidential environment for all involved to think things through and talk to each other about the issues. Their mediators are trained to work through the issues so that a resolution can be agreed.
