This site, developed by the Police & Crime Commissioner for Sussex, provides an online directory of local victim and witness specialist support services. It also contains information about different types of crime and what happens at each stage of the criminal justice system, helping to 'demystify' the process for people when they may be at their most vulnerable.

Privacy Policy
Information provided to the Sussex Police & Crime Commissioner by users through the use of this website will be treated in confidence and will not be disclosed to third parties unless required to do so by law.
The Sussex Police & Crime Commissioner gathers information about site usage in order to address continuous improvement of our service through the site to the public. At the moment this consists of information provided voluntarily by users through online feedback forms. Feedback data cannot be identified with an individual unless they voluntarily supply their name or other identifying details. Additionally, we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information, such as number of visitors. This information is processed in a way that does not identify anyone and we do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our websites.
The Sussex Police & Crime Commissioner website logs the user’s IP address, which is automatically recognised by the Web Server.
This privacy statement applies only to web pages under the control of the Sussex Police & Crime Commissioner within the domain www.safespacesussex.org.uk and does not cover links within this site to other sites.
